68,000 SF at Midlink Business Park to Expand Specialty Fabrication

for Alternative Energy Industry

 

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN (May 12, 2008)—Midlink Business Park and Signature Associates announce that W. Soule & Company has leased 68,000 SF, expanding its existing facilities at Midlink’s East building, to accommodate the growth of its specialty fabrication division, Soule Fabrication Group. The new division will focus on manufacturing large stacks, columns and towers, and modular skid projects for customers in the alternative energy industry. W. Soule has had facilities in Midlink’s East building since July, 2007.

“We’re helping companies explore alternative energy sources, including ethanol, steam, and wind power,” said Gary Cline, Vice President and Group Manager for W. Soule.  “But to fabricate those products, we need the right facility. Midlink offers the size and infrastructure we require—38’ high ceilings, large bays, three high-capacity cranes and more—plus the flexibility to help us grow, as the industry continues to create more business for us.”

Currently one of the largest mechanical contractors in southwest Michigan, W. Soule has five locations throughout Michigan, but is concentrating fabrication services for energy industries at Midlink, where space is large and capabilities are many.
