ASME & National Board Stamp Certification Renewed

W. Soule has passed an audit from ASME (founded as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors and been awarded a renewal of the “ASME” authorization for Power Boilers “S”, Pressure Vessels “U” and Power Piping “PP”, and the National Board “R” authorization for Pressure Vessel and Pressure Piping Repairs and Alterations.

“The certification of these capabilities by the ASME and National Board gives our customers piece of mind as to the level of quality W. Soule’s products are built with,” explains Ned Hawkins, Corporate Quality Director at W. Soule. “The combination of these four certifications makes W. Soule a one-stop code fabricator and contractor for our customers.”

The audit includes a review of past projects and demonstrated Quality Control implementations. Renewal audits are required every three years. W. Soule has two ASME/National Board certified shops in southwest Michigan and maintains certifications for field work.
