ASME Renews Stamps at W. Soule Corporate Office Shop
Every three years American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ (ASME) auditors visit each certified shop to review our practices and records in order to renew our stamps. This winter they audited and renewed stamps at the shop at our corporate location.
The audit includes a review of past projects and demonstrated Quality Control implementations. The quality team spends a lot of time collecting the requested materials in preparation for the 4 day audit. We hold stamps at three different shops so we average one audit per year.
The stamp, or certification mark, indicates the item complies with the laws and regulations in nearly all U.S. States and Canadian Provinces. Only approved locations can stamp goods as meeting these quality and safety standards.
W. Soule is one of more than 7,000 companies in more than 70 countries currently certified by ASME.
